About LKMS

Legacy Knoll Middle School is a 6th through 8th grade facility and opened in August 2023. It will receive its students from North Jackson Elementary and Heroes Elementary School, which opened in August of 2024. Legacy Knoll Middle School feeds into Jackson County High School. 

Legacy Knoll Middle School was built to accommodate the rapid growth occurring inside Jackson County, and to help alleviate overcrowding at nearby West Jackson Middle School.

Legacy Knoll Middle School offers a robust educational environment for all students, while offering a multitude of extracurricular opportunities through clubs, performing arts and athletics. 

For the 2023-24 school year, Legacy Knoll Middle and West Jackson Middle will offer combined sports for various seasons, while other sports teams will be separate. Please click on athletics for more information.
