Dickerson, Butkovick Awarded Bright Ideas Grants
Legacy Knoll Middle School teachers Chandler Dickerson and Kristin Butkovich were awarded Jackson EMC Bright Ideas grants. Dickerson received $1,550 for the project entitled "Band Drill Design and Composition", while Butkovich received $1,067 for the project "Math Through Dream Home Construction."
The grant is part of the Jackson EMC Bright Ideas Grant program, which is awarding $73,600 to 48 teachers across 30 middle schools this year. The maximum amount a teacher may receive for the grant is $2,000.
